This site uses GoatCounter Analytics to understand, in aggregate, whether its pages are useful. The measurement is limited to page views and a small set of interaction categories: CV downloads, email-link clicks, and external-link clicks grouped as GitHub, arXiv, LinkedIn, or other.

Data collected

GoatCounter provides aggregate statistics about the page visited, referring source, approximate country, device type, browser, and the interaction categories above. The site does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, session recordings, cross-site tracking, or collect form contents, names, or email addresses through analytics. It does not send the exact destination URL of an external click as a custom event.

The analytics code is not loaded when your browser sends a Do Not Track preference. You may also block it with a content blocker.

Purpose and access

The sole purpose is to improve the site’s content, navigation, and links. Statistics are available only to the site owner through GoatCounter’s analytics service; they are not used for advertising or sold to third parties. The site is hosted through GitHub Pages, whose handling of requests is governed separately by GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
